Gluten Free Savoury & Sweet - £35 pp

Make a gluten free Beef Lasagne and a gluten free Victoria Sponge Cake

Service Description

Whatever your reasons for wanting to avoid gluten, this class will teach you to make a classic lasagne and Victoria Sponge cake. Gluten free does not have to mean taste free, and I promise you will not feel like you're "missing anything" with these two tried and tested dishes. For us, an added bonus is that our children constantly ask for both; always a win in our book! Firstly we will prepare the batter for the Victoria sponge, and whilst that's baking, we'll turn our attention to making the lasagne. We'll start by making the ragu (meat sauce) and then a classic béchamel (white sauce) - all from scratch. We'll finish by decorating and marvelling at the Victoria Sponge! Your class will include a glass of wine/beer/soft drink and some nibbles. Please ensure you advise us at the time of booking of any ALLERGIES or INTOLERENCES you may have. Containers will be provided for you to take your food home. Please bring a bag for life with you to help carry your food home safely. This class can absolutely be tailored to make a regular (non-gluten free) Lasagne and Victoria sponge, or we can arrange to make a Veggie lasagne if that's your preference.
